Who am I?

I’m really glad you’re here…

I’m Emma Louise Bennett, a transformative life coach and the founder of The Empowerful Club. I’m also ICF accredited, which just means the work I do with women is grounded in proper training, not just good intentions.

Italy has had my heart for as long as I can remember. As a former languages teacher, I spent years trying to hold everything together — a full-on career, a life that looked right from the outside, and this quiet but persistent feeling that something was missing.

It took burning out completely to finally listen to it.

In 2023, after a lot of soul-searching and one very big leap of faith, I left my job, sold my house, and moved to Italy. I genuinely didn’t know if it would work. It did. Better than I could have imagined.

I now split my time between Rome and Lago di Bracciano. My days look nothing like they used to — long lunches, cobbled streets, afternoons floating on a pontoon, the occasional escape to the Amalfi Coast. Life feels slower here, and richer for it.

But this isn’t really a story about Italy.

It’s a story about deciding, somewhere in your forties, that you’re allowed to want something different. And then actually going after it.

That’s what I help other women do now. Whether Italy is part of your picture or not, if you’re feeling stuck, exhausted, or quietly wondering if this is really it — that’s where we start.

I share my life here with my lovely Italian boyfriend Max, and a circle of friends who have become family. And if you’ve spotted a pattern in my photos, yes — stripy tops, a good Spritz, and anything spa-related. Guilty on all counts.
